PURPOSE

The New Castle Park Board works to ensure our city parks, trails, and recreational facilities meet the growing needs of our community. In close coordination with the Park Superintendent, the Board evaluates existing park assets, plans future development, and establishes project timelines for continuous improvements.

Hearing directly from residents is a vital part of our mission. The Board serves as a primary point of contact for public input, community ideas, and feedback regarding municipal parks and recreational programming.

Public Meetings & Records

  Meeting Schedule: Held on the 1st Monday of each month at 5:30 PM.

Location: City Council Chambers (3rd Floor), City Hall — 227 N. Main Street, New Castle, IN 47362.

Public Attendance: All meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend.
