Originally founded as "The First Aid Unit" thanks to the forward-thinking vision of the late "Chuck" Wood, we have spent over 80 years providing unmatched patient care with state-of-the-art equipment.

We don't just respond to emergencies—we actively work to prevent them and save lives through advanced, round-the-clock programs:
Community Paramedics: Staffed 24/7, this program lives by the motto “Bridging the gap.” We provide in-home healthcare access, support and education for chronic diseases, and targeted care to reduce hospital re-admissions. Additionally, our staff is Safe Sleep certified and partners closely with local OB and pediatric offices.

Pre-Hospital Whole Blood Program: When seconds count, our shift supervisors carry a unit of whole blood in their Quick Response Vehicle. Utilizing advanced equipment from Delta Development, QinFlow, and LifeFlow, we can administer life-saving blood transfusions directly at the scene of medical emergencies and traumatic injuries.
