Greg York brings a strong background of local leadership, small business ownership, and deep community roots to the Mayor’s Office. A graduate of New Castle High School, Greg built and manages a successful local enterprise while remaining deeply involved in local civic and church life.
As Mayor, Greg’s vision centers on fixing critical infrastructure, empowering city workers, and fostering steady growth by building on New Castle’s foundational strengths.

Born and raised in New Castle, Mayor Greg York is a proud New Castle High School graduate, dedicated family man, and local business owner. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Greg built his career from the ground up as the owner and manager of a local vault company.
A lifelong supporter of local athletics, Greg is an avid sports enthusiast who frequently attends IU home games and local sporting events. He is also an active member of the Foursquare Gospel Church, serving the community with faith and dedication.
